Mojo Flower

Julee had another great Mojo sketch challenge so I had to participate. 





My card base is 4 1/4" square.  I started with a 4" x 3 5/8" piece of So Saffron cardstock.  I stamped it with the En Francais background stamp in More Mustard ink.  With the 3 5/8" side going across the top, I cut off four 1/2" strips of cardstock.  I sponged around all of the edges with More Mustard ink.  I mounted all of those pieces on a 4 1/8" square piece of Basic Black cardstock. 

I used two flowers from the Pretties Kit for the main panel.  I colored them with an Aqua Painter and my So Saffron reinker.  I wanted the color to be very light so I used lots of water.  After the flowers were dry, I stacked them on top of each other (off-center) and stamped them with the En Francais background stamp using More Mustard ink.  I have always liked the look of flowers with designs on them, and now I know how to make my own!
