I can't believe it's March already. That means there are only two more weeks left of sale-a-bration. Hurry and get those sale-a-bration orders in before you miss out! Also, March is the beginning of the Occasions mini catalog. To view the catalog, simply click on the picture of the Occasions mini catalog in the left column of my blog. There are so many great new products in there--hodgepodge hardware, poly-twill ribbon, die cut blooms, designer series papers, and of course new stamps.
Today kicks off a whole week of birthday cards on my blog. All of these cards were made at my birthday card stamp-a-stack last week.
I stamped the bird in basic black ink on Confetti White cardstock. Then I stamped the bird again on a piece of turquoise Bali Breeze DSP. I cut the body of the bird out and glued it on top of the bird on the Confetti White cardstock. This technique is called paper piecing. I think everything else on the card is pretty self-explanatory.
All of the cards I'll be showing this week are fairly quick and easy to make. Each person made 10 cards at the stamp-a-stack and they needed to be able to finish all of them in 2 hours. Check back tomorrow for another quick birthday card.
