I've been having so much fun making Christmas projects, that I haven't posted a card in a while. I needed some inspiration for a card and I found it in this week's bonus sketch challenge on SplitCoast.
I used Dashing Designer Series Paper and mounted it on a layer of Mellow Moss card stock to match the thin Mellow Moss stripe in the DSP. For some reason the Mellow Moss looks a little gray in the picture.
Here's a close-up of the medallion.
I made the medallion with my scalloped circle punch. First I punched out a scalloped circle out of Mellow Moss card stock. Using temporary adhesive, I glued the scalloped circle to a piece of printer paper (the paper has to be thin because the punch can't go through two layers of card stock). I made sure to glue it near the edge of the paper.
Holding the punch upside down, I insert the printer paper into the punch so that I could see the Mellow Moss scalloped circle in the opening of the punch. I rotated my punch so that the pattern on the punch was offset from the scallops on the Mellow Moss card stock. Then I punched!
Here's a before and after picture.
It's very simple and gives a whole new look to the scalloped circle.
Paper: Dashing DSP, Vanilla, Mellow Moss, Real Red
Accessories: Silver Brad, Wide Red Grosgrain, Dimensionals
Punches: Scalloped Circle, Snow Blossom, Three For You Flower, Circles (1/16", 1 3/8", 1 1/4")

Totally cool, Dannie, thanks for sharing!
